The Role
Step into the role of Copywriter. We are looking for a wordsmith who truly gets it. As a key member of our Copywriting Team, you will craft copy that aligns perfectly with our brand. From the 'well-dressed time off' our customers love to the sharp, preppy details that define us, you will ensure our story is told in the best way possible. This is about more than just filling a page. It is about creating fresh and effortless narratives that resonate across every channel, from our digital spaces to the high street.
Working Pattern
This is a full time role based at ‘The Barn’ - Joules’ purpose built Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. The typical hours for this role are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and this is an onsite role.
Our Location
Market Harborough in Leicestershire, is where Joules began in 1989. This market town is home to the brand’s Head Office and is full of independent shops, bars and restaurants. It also benefits from good transport links to London, making it easily accessible for visitors and commuters alike.
What You’ll Do
Bring the Story to Life: You will write across the board, including social media, ecommerce, in-store displays, and PR. Whether it is a snappy one-liner or a deep dive into our heritage, you will keep it compelling.
Master the Details: You will craft product descriptions that do more than just describe. You will help our customers understand the design and details that make a Joules piece special.
Collaborate and Create: You will work closely with our Marketing, Creative, and Ecommerce teams to find the most engaging solutions for every brief.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: You will keep a keen eye on the landscape to ensure Joules remains at the front of the pack, always looking for new ways to delight and inspire our audience.
Champion Quality: Accuracy is everything. You will maintain high standards and a sharp eye for detail, helping to keep our brand voice consistent and polished.
What You’ll Bring
A Way with Words: You have previous copywriting experience, either agency-side or in-house, and a portfolio that proves you can mix, layer, and play with language.
A Natural Fit: You have a genuine interest in lifestyle and fashion. You understand our roots and where we are going, and you can speak to our long-standing fans and our new followers with equal ease.
Energy and Optimism: You are a proactive person who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are reliable, dependable, and you do not lose your cool when a deadline approaches.
A Creative Spark: You are confident enough to pitch a bold new idea but humble enough to know that the best work usually comes from a good chat and a bit of teamwork.
The Basics: You are comfortable navigating Google Workspace. A relevant degree is a bonus, but your talent and drive are what really matter to us.
A Sense of Humour: We take our work seriously, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously.
Sponsorship
In accordance with Home Office guidance, successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencement of employment. Joules does not hold a Sponsor Licence and would not, therefore, be able to sponsor a successful candidate under the Skilled Worker route. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the right to work without sponsorship.
