We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Account Director to join our award-winning global Brand Consulting team and support a key client across their global partnership portfolio.
We are seeking a senior marketing consultant with experience developing and delivering activation strategies for brands in sport, entertainment, and culture. The successful candidate will demonstrate their understanding and capabilities in leading and managing 360 sponsorship campaigns across disciplines including rights management, experiential, digital, content, and communications.
THE ROLE
This is an exciting and dynamic role working as part of an international account team for one of Brand Consulting’s newest clients. The client is an established, global brand with a broad portfolio of sponsorship investments across various sports and markets.
Working alongside a Vice President, the Account Director will draw upon their knowledge and experience in sports marketing to advise and guide the client in utilizing and optimizing its contractual rights and assets to deliver impactful results.
We are looking for a strategically-minded account leader with experience managing a team across multiple partnerships and regions. The candidate should demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to bring innovative ideas to help our client achieve its commercial and brand objectives.
As the CAA Brand Consulting business continues to grow, the individual will have opportunities to work on additional projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Be a trusted advisor and senior partner for our client alongside the Vice President.
* Assist in developing actionable strategies that maximize partnership rights and assets, aligning with brand and business objectives.
* Lead day-to-day operations, manage the account team, client reporting, and budgeting.
* Build strong relationships with senior clients, rights holders, and suppliers.
* Support the development of campaign creative, positioning, and channel strategies based on audience insights.
* Project manage campaign activations from ideation to execution across digital channels.
* Manage event logistics, including talent appearances, internal engagement, and VIP experiences.
* Liaise with rights holders to track, schedule, and manage partnership rights and assets.
* Measure campaign effectiveness and demonstrate ROI against client KPIs.
* Advise the client on best practices and processes to elevate sponsorship outcomes.
* Monitor trends in sport, technology, and Web3.
* Support networking and business development activities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
* Significant agency or in-house experience at a client/campaign lead level.
* Experience in strategic decision-making, campaign planning, communications, asset development, and event management.
* Proficiency in digital and social media marketing, including global digital campaigns.
* Interest or experience in sports, football, or basketball is advantageous but not critical.
* Experience liaising with global markets is advantageous.
* Excellent interpersonal, client servicing, and project management skills.
* Strong people management experience, including direct line management.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
* Autonomous team player with creative flair and innovative thinking.
* Confident in presentation skills, both verbal and written, with high attention to detail.
