Teaching Personnel is currently working with a warm and inclusive primary school in the NG7 area of Nottingham to recruit a committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting. This long-term position is ideal for someone looking to make a real difference from day one. About the Role: Providing consistent 1:1 support for a Reception-aged pupil with additional needs Supporting communication and interaction through visual aids, routine prompts, and modelling language Assisting with personal care routines, including toileting Helping the child regulate emotions and manage transitions using calm strategies and sensory tools Encouraging engagement with classroom activities and positive interaction with peers Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to deliver tailored support and track progress The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience supporting children in EYFS or working 1:1 with pupils with SEND Confident using a range of strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, and sensory needs Patient, empathetic, and resilient Has a Level 2/3 TA qualification (or equivalent experience) Strong teamwork and communication skills Why Join Us?
