LI-Onsite Job ID: 27944 The Role: Plater Location: Teesside Hours of work: 10 hours per day (9.5 hours paid) Work pattern: 12‑day fortnight Duration: 6 months This is an fixed term Trade & Craft role supporting tank and structural steel welding works within a heavy industrial environment. Applicants must have proven Plater experience. Responsibilities Prime responsibilities and duties Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the plating/structural work scope is completed safely and to a high standard Follow the schedule communicated by the supervisor Complete all workscope in accordance with applicable workpack / jobcard instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team Apply for relevant permits to work (PTW) in order to complete workscope in a controlled and safe manner (onshore only) Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete workscope in a safe and controlled manner Qualifications Essential 4 Year Apprenticeship or Level 3 equivalent CCNSG safety Passport Wood mandatory training, induction, risk awareness, etc Abrasive Wheels Working at Height/Harness training Working at Heights and Confined space may be a requirement for this position.
