What will the Director of Finance and Governance role involve? Leading the finance function, offering strategic insight and guidance to support long-term goals. Overseeing all core finance operations – budgeting, forecasting, audit, payroll, and statutory reporting. Acting as Company Secretary – upholding strong governance and ensuring regulatory compliance. Supporting and developing a small, capable team while driving financial planning and modelling. Suitable Candidate for the Director of Finance and Governance vacancy: A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with senior leadership experience – charity sector experience is a bonus, not a must. Someone who brings both strategic thinking and a hands-on approach. A clear, confident communicator who can bring financials to life for a range of audiences.
