Job Planning Coordinator

The closing date is 01 June 2026

Are you highly organised, confident working with senior professionals, and motivated by making complex processes run smoothly? This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role at the heart of the Trust, supporting medical leadership and helping to shape how senior doctors' time and expertise are planned and used.

As a Job Planning Coordinator you will be central to the Trust's medical job planning process, working closely with Consultants, SAS Doctors, Divisional and Clinical Directors, and the Executive Medical Director's team. You'll coordinate job planning activity across all specialties, ensuring processes are robust, deadlines are met and governance standards are maintained.

This varied and influential role blends coordination, data management, relationship-building and problem‑solving. You will meet with medical colleagues, provide advice and training on job planning systems, produce high-quality reports and performance updates, and help drive continuous improvement in how job planning operates across the Trust.

You will be a key point of contact within the Executive Medical Director's office, trusted to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion, while keeping momentum on job plan sign‑off and supporting escalation or mediation where needed.

If you are proactive, detail‑focused, confident communicating with senior stakeholders and keen to develop your skills in a high‑profile medical workforce role, we'd love to hear from you.
