An established further and higher education provider in Plymouth is looking to appoint a passionate and knowledgeable Electrical Engineering Lecturer to join its growing academic team. With a strong focus on inclusive, industry-aligned education from Entry Level to Higher Education, the institution partners closely with employers to deliver relevant and future-facing programmes.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and lab-based sessions in electrical and electronic engineering at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
* Create and update teaching resources and assessments that reflect current academic standards and industry requirements.
* Take an active role in curriculum development, ensuring course content remains relevant to emerging technologies and skills demands.
* Participate in individual and collaborative research projects, contribute to publications, and foster links with industry stakeholders.
* Support learners through academic guidance, timely feedback, and tailored support strategies.
* Contribute to departmental planning, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
* A recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one.
* A minimum Level 2-4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
* An IQA qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
* Industry experience in an electrical engineering environment.
* Experience in teaching or training, particularly within manufacturing or electrical engineering disciplines.
* A strong track record in monitoring and supporting diverse student cohorts across various programmes.
* Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
