Drugs2U Pharmacy is a trusted community pharmacy dedicated to providing top-notch healthcare services. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team on a self-employed basis. This role requires experience with care homes and proficiency with the TITAN PMR system is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately dispense prescribed medications using the PMR system, under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
* Manage and process prescriptions for care home residents, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and professional standards.
* Serve as the primary contact between the pharmacy and care homes, coordinating prescription deliveries and resolving medication queries.
* Deliver excellent customer service, offering advice and support to patients, care home staff, and the wider community.
* Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent).
* Proven experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser, particularly in working with care homes.
* Proficiency with the TITAN PMR system is preferred.
* Desirable but not essential, experience using eMAR systems such as CareMeds & Atlas.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with care home staff and patients.
* Highly organised with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.

* Hourly rate of £13.00.
