The Role
You will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical assemblies and ground support/test equipment used in space environments. This is a hands‑on engineering role involving the full product lifecycle, from concept through to validation.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop mechanical assemblies for space applications
* Create detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
* Work with a variety of components and materials suited for space environments
* Perform structural and thermal analysis using ANSYS
* Support and participate in design reviews
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including electronics and systems engineers
* Contribute to testing and validation activities, including ground test equipment
Requirements
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
* Experience in 3D CAD (e.g. SolidWorks or similar)
* Strong understanding of structural and thermal analysis (ANSYS preferred)
* Experience designing mechanical systems or assemblies
* Ability to work within a collaborative engineering team
