About the Role: As a Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, from food preparation and hygiene management to customer service and cash handling. Key Responsibilities: * Support food preparation and ensure compliance with hygiene standards and allergen awareness protocols. * Monitor food temperatures, maintain food safety practices, and uphold excellent hygiene standards. * Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers and team members. * Handle cash and operate the till accurately and confidently. * Contribute to the team’s success by working collaboratively and helping maintain a positive atmosphere. What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking someone with a passion for food and customer service, along with the following qualifications and attributes: * Level 2 Food Safety Certificate and a strong understanding of temperature monitoring, hygiene standards, and allergen awareness. * High standards of personal hygiene and attention to detail. * Proven experience working in a café or restaurant environment. * Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. * A friendly and professional attitude with the ability to fit into a close-knit, experienced team. * Cash handling and till experience is essential.
