We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join our long-established family business. This role offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time positions available.
Please note: You must have your own tools.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment
* Perform repairs including brakes, suspension, exhausts, clutches, timing belts, and general mechanical work
* Liaise with the Office Manager/Director and drivers to explain issues, discuss repair options, and provide updates
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
* Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with relevant regulations
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a mechanic or vehicle technician
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems and diagnostic procedures
* Confident in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
* Good communication skills with a professional approach
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Full UK driving licence required
