Your impact
* Bring together a diverse team of environmental specialists and work closely with our clients to lead Environment and Consents work streams nationally across the UK and Europe, providing technical expertise to embed environment and sustainability into the design and delivery of major high‑profile utility, transportation and infrastructure projects.
* Take a lead role in Environmental Impact Assessment and Consenting delivery.
* Responsible for the production and delivery of key EIA deliverables for Nationally Significant Projects supporting Development Consent Order applications; lead a multidisciplinary team providing guidance to EIA coordinators and subject‑matter experts.
* Identify, manage and mitigate risks to project delivery.
* Governance and compliance management of relevant environmental legislation and policy.
* Collaborative stakeholder engagement across all aspects of the sustainability, environmental and consenting processes.
* Maximise opportunities for efficiencies, promote innovation throughout the EIA lifecycle.
* Provide mentorship and support to ensure the technical and personal development of colleagues.
Here’s what you’ll need
* Progressive experience of delivering Environmental Impact Assessments.
* Knowledge and understanding of consenting regimes.
* Demonstrable experience in client‑facing roles, comfortable engaging in proactive consultation with key stakeholders.
* Established project management and governance experience, with a history of ensuring health, safety, security and inclusivity are embedded into project legacy and decision‑making.
* Active champion of innovative thinking to improve project and legacy outcomes.
* Chartered status and full membership of a recognised relevant professional body (e.g., IEMA, CIWEM, IES).
