What is the role?
The purpose of the role is to ensure our subcontract ledger supply is paid on time and any queries are dealt with in a prompt and efficient manner.
What you'll do as a Subcontractor Ledger Clerk
Processing subcontract certificates/invoices on to the subcontract ledger
Preparing subcontractor & labour only payment runs
Subcontractor statement reconciliations
Ensuring correct level of authorisation is obtained for certificates & payments
Costing certificates/invoices to contracts
Monthly CIS returns
Liaising with our internal teams to resolve queries
Dealing with subcontractor queries – telephone and emails
Adhoc accounts duties
What experience do I need?
Previous experience in a similar role within a busy organisation
COINS experience would be hugely beneficial but not essential
Diligent and organised
Strong attention to detail
Excel skills required
Good communication skills
