Associate solicitor - plaintiff litigation

We are working with a market-leading boutique law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Personal Injury practice within one of their NI offices based in Newry or Belfast.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join an elite Personal Injury team, advising plaintiffs on personal injury matters. The candidate will advise on matters such as medical negligence, road traffic accidents, criminal injury, and accidents at work, at home, and public places. Responsibilities include negotiating settlements, managing case documentation, preparing and issuing court documents, attend court hearings, and assist clients and witnesses through court procedures.

The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to get involved in business development initiatives, while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria:

• 2+ PQE;
• Strong background in personal injury law and civil litigation;
• Outstanding academics;
• Technically excellent;
• Negotiation skills;
• Willingness to become involved in business development;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
