The role is for a Class One UK and European driver.
A majority of the work is Monday to Friday tramping in the UK with occasional weekends where required or wanted. During the busy periods in event season longer periods away are required these can be anywhere between 2 to 8 weeks when on touring work
We cover a variety of work which includes UK and European general haulage and event transport pulling box,curtain, fridge and flat trailers as well as traction only work pulling our customers trailers.
Left-hand drive experience and advantage but not essential
Our yard is in Avonmouth and the trucks will not be out based.
Company uniform will be provided.
Our insurance requires drivers to be over 25 with no more than six points on their license. However for the right applicant, I would consider lowering the age of the insurance.
Wages are paid on a day rate plus nights out and full daily rate is paid for each day you are working. For example, if you were on an international or event job and you are parked up for two days during a show or parked up to take your 24 hour break you will be paid your full daily rate for these days. We are happy to take a drivers on a payee or self-employed basis. The rates are as follows.
