About the role
THIS IS FOR A 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT
As the IT Project / Change Manager, you will be responsible for driving forward the change management processes to meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
* Rationalizing our IT change portfolio to eliminate non-value add changes
* Ensuring alignment, change resource allocation and joint decision making with applicable teams within the IT function for best outcomes
* Establishing and leading IT Change Approval Boards
* Ensuring effective and timely reporting of change performance to senior stakeholders
* Facilitating resolution of conflict and misunderstanding within the execution of the change portfolio
* Ensuring change resources are adequately defined and allocation is rationalised to demand
* Owning, implementing and improving change management process across IT
* Monitoring, validating and feeding back on proper use of change management process within the IT organization
* Manage the execution of the full project management lifecycle (including all stage gate processes, risk and change controls/escalation, steerco reporting) for assigned IT projects
* Ensuring positive stakeholder experience and Business Unit alignment with IT function
* Ensuring successful delivery of assigned IT projects, aligned with agreed governance and performance targets
* Ensuring alignment between internal stakeholders, subcontractors and the IT function for best project outcomes
About you
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in project/change management is essential for this role
* Experience of working within an ITIL environment with demonstrable experience in change management
* Possess a recognised professional qualification relating to project management, e.g. PRINCE2 or PMP is desirable
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential
* Stakeholder management experience is essential
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential
* Excellent planning, organising and re-prioritising skills is essential
* Proficiency in Excel is essential for this role
