Senior Technical Coordinator
We are working with a leading residential developer with a strong presence in Bristol and the South West, working on multiple new-build housing schemes in the region. They’re well known for delivering quality, sustainable developments and building vibrant communities.
Your Role
As our Senior Technical Coordinator you will drive technical excellence across several projects at planning-approved and pre-construction stages. You will also be put on the “Technical Manager pathway” with a view to upskilling and developing you into a full fledged Technical Manager in the next 12 months.
Reporting to the Head of Technical, you will:
* Lead and coordinate external consultants to produce working drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
* Oversee discharge of planning conditions, building regulation approvals (NHBC/LABC), and statutory submissions
* Prepare essential documentation: conveyance plans, brochure plans, layout drawings, and home-user guides
* Provide technical support to construction, commercial, and sales teams—ensuring technical accuracy and buildability
* Attend site progress meetings, resolve technical issues, and maintain compliance throughout project delivery
Requirements
* Experienced in a residential developer or housebuilder environment
* Proven record with multi-unit housing schemes and working drawings in AutoCAD/Revit
* Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, NHBC/LABC standards, planning law, and statutory processes
* Qualifications: degree or HNC/HND in civil/building engineering, architecture, or construction
* Excellent stakeholder management, organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Salary up to £65,000, plus package
