Overview
Social Worker – Adults Review Team in Oldham, UK, earning £30 hourly for 3 months. We are seeking an experienced social worker to jump into this locum opportunity within our Adults Review Team. This is a full-time role where you’ll have the chance to utilise your skills to make a real impact, working with service users, carers, and families to improve their life opportunities. If you have approximately 2-3 years of experience and can work autonomously in a strengths-based way, we want you to start as soon as possible.

What you will do
* Undertake assessments of support needs for service users, carers, and families, and assist in screening referrals
* Develop and review Care and Support Plans and packages to address social care, health, and well-being needs
* Work collaboratively with service users to empower them through informed decisions
* Address potential safeguarding issues and follow the relevant policies and procedures
* Manage risks and promote positive behavioural changes
* Respond to crisis situations with timely assessments and legal interventions
* Maintain accurate records and ensure data quality within care systems
* Advocate for service users, ensuring their voices are heard in meetings and decision-making forums
* Establish productive relationships with partnership agencies to ensure comprehensive support
* Participate in ongoing learning, training, and development activities
