We are now looking to recruit a Group Accounting and Consolidation Manager to join our busy and successful Group finance team. The Group Accounting and Consolidation Manager will be expected to cover a number of aspects of Group accounting, providing timely and accurate financial information to Group Senior Management including the Plc Board, as well as reporting to various external stakeholders. You will be responsible for Production of the consolidated balance sheet and cash flow on a monthly basis. Monthly reporting to the bank on financial performance and covenant compliance as well as other banking certificates and information provision requirements throughout the year in accordance with the Group’s banking facility. Provision of management information to other stakeholders including manufacturer funders and regulatory bodies. Preparation of the Group consolidated accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards and coordination of the Group’s annual external audit. Production of annual going concern assessment and asset impairment reviews including calculation of the Group’s Weighted Average Cost of Capital. Maintenance of subsidiary distributable reserves schedules and management of subsidiary dividend process. Acquisition accounting including fair value assessment for business acquisitions. Ongoing reconciliation and maintenance of Group intangible asset base. Accounting and reconciliation of Group share transactions including share based payment charges, share option reporting and treasury shares. Monthly reporting on the financial performance of central functions to the CEO and CFO. Group level 3 year cash flow forecast modelling. You will be in regular contact with the Group's senior finance team as well as the Group's Corporate banks, so excellent communication skills are essential. Strong technical accounting skills are required, with successful candidates holding an ACA, or equivalent, qualification. In addition to exceptional communication skills, you must be a good team player with a robust and resilient personality.
