Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant to join a SEND school in Colchester. A background in sports is highly beneficial, but no prior experience is necessary—just a desire to help!
You will be part of a supportive team working with children who have additional needs such as ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD. A friendly, resilient approach and the ability to build strong relationships with children are essential.
This is a long-term, full-time position, requiring availability five days a week from 8:15 am to 4:00 pm.

* Pay rates include statutory holiday pay.
* This is a temporary role, with potential for permanent placement in the future.
* All applicants will undergo safeguarding checks in accordance with DfE guidance, including possible online searches.
* Free online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training is provided.
* Applicants must have or be willing to undertake a valid enhanced DBS check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
