A well-established investment management firm is looking to add an experienced European Business Development professional to their team. This role will work closely with senior sales leadership as part of a long-term growth plan. They are looking to move quickly and will prioritise candidates who are immediately available or with a short notice period.
Rather than a purely transactional sales role, this position combines relationship management, business development and strategic follow-up. You will operate across public market strategies within a flat, entrepreneurial environment, benefitting from close collaboration, broad product exposure and meaningful long-term commercial upside.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with a senior sales leader to manage and grow a European institutional and wholesale client base.
* Build, deepen and maintain long-term relationships with pension funds, insurers, asset owners, intermediaries and professional investors.
* Support ongoing business origination through strategic follow-up, account management and high-quality client servicing.
* Represent a broad investment platform across both liquid and illiquid strategies, tailoring solutions to client needs.
* Identify and develop growth opportunities across underrepresented European regions.
What We’re Looking For
* An experienced sales professional operating at Senior VP or Director level, with a strong European client track record.
* A self-directed, commercially minded individual who thrives in an entrepreneurial, partnership-oriented environment.
* Experience in Southern Europe or Benelux is advantageous but not essential.
* Proven experience within asset management, private banking or investment solutions is key.
* Fluency in at least one European language is useful.
* Demonstrable experience covering European institutional and/or wholesale investors.
