I'm currently working with a fantastic GP surgery in Maidstone, Kent area that's on the lookout for a Practice Nurse to join their team on a part-time or full-time basis. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality care and have experience in managing long-term conditions, this could be the perfect fit.
You'll be responsible for providing a range of essential nursing services and working closely with the clinical team to support patients with chronic illnesses and long-term conditions. Annual and interim reviews for patients with chronic conditions in line with national/local guidelines:
COPD, CKD, Asthma, Hypertension, CHD, Diabetes
Running Immunisation Clinics, Cervical Smear Tests, and providing Sexual Health & Family Planning services (including oral contraception and Depo injections)
Conducting Travel Health Consultations, Venepuncture, ECGs, and Basic Wound Care
RGN qualification with current NMC registration
Experience working within General Practice/Primary Care
Confident in chronic disease management and providing evidence-based care
Training/accreditation in chronic disease management
Up-to-date training in childhood immunisations, health promotion, family planning, and smoking cessation
Minimum 2 years post-registration experience in a Practice Nurse role
Competitive rate: £21 per hour +
