The Role As a Finance Assistant, you'll play a key part in supporting the finance team with day-to-day operations and month-end processes. From managing purchase ledgers to supplier reconciliations, you'll help ensure the smooth running of the finance function while working in a collaborative, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Monitoring and managing accounts inboxes. Processing purchase ledger invoices (3-way match). Completing monthly supplier reconciliations. Identifying and resolving invoice or payment queries. Processing subcontractor invoices. Assisting with month-end payment runs. Supporting the wider finance team as required. General administrative duties. What We're Looking For: 2 years' finance experience (construction or facilities management background desirable). Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel. Previous experience using Sage, Xero, or equivalent software. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
