Key Responsibilities of Disability Support Worker:
* Provide individualised support to pupils with a range of disabilities.
* Assist with mobility, personal care, communication, and independence skills.
* Support engagement in classroom activities and school routines.
* Follow personalised support plans and work closely with teaching staff and SEN professionals.
* Encourage confidence, participation, and emotional well-being.
* Maintain accurate records and communicate progress with staff and families.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience as a Disability Support Worker or in a similar care/SEN role.
* A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to assist with personal care if required.
* Understanding of disability support, inclusive practice, and safeguarding.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
