We are exclusively partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in North Yorkshire to appoint a commercially focused Head of HR for an exciting and evolving brand.
About the Role
This is a true generalist leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape and lead the HR function during a key phase of growth and transformation. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team to deliver a people strategy aligned to business objectives, while strengthening HR systems, processes and operational excellence. This role is initially offered as a 6–12 month fixed-term contract, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent.
Responsibilities
Lead the full HR remit across the business, covering both strategic and operational HR
Partner with the senior leadership team to drive organisational performance and culture
Review, develop and embed scalable HR systems and processes
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice
Oversee employee relations activity, providing pragmatic and commercially sound advice
Lead workforce planning, succession planning and organisational design initiatives
Drive performance management and capability development
Support change management projects across the business
Develop and enhance policies, procedures and people frameworks
Champion engagement, communication and a positive workplace culture
This is a hands-on role within a manufacturing environment, requiring visibility and presence on site.
Pay range and compensation package
Salary: c.£60,000–£75,000 + package
