Job Description
* Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to support decision-making.
* Manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organisational objectives.
* Reconciling all bank accounts across the business
* Recognise and record all income and revenue streams
* Balance Sheet reconciliations
* Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
* Support the year-end audit process by preparing relevant documentation.
* Collaborate with department heads to provide financial guidance and advice.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
* Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls.
* Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to aid strategic planning.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* Proven experience in a Month End Management Accounts position
* Strong technical accounting and financial analysis skills.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
* A detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
* The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
* Experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous but not essential.
