Overview
TRAINING STRATEGY role focused on leading the creation of UK Brand training strategies, collaborating with key stakeholders including Head of Education and Events. Design, develop, oversee and conduct brand Training Programs for both Brand employed and retailer consultant teams. Train Beauty Consultants with product knowledge and selling behaviours to achieve and exceed sales and service goals, in person and virtually. Regularly review training effectiveness and implement findings into the national strategy. Ensure all newly hired Consultants receive quality training within the first 30 days of hire. Collaborate with Regional Sales & Education Managers to understand field performance and needs, guiding 1-2-1 coaching and developing initiatives in response.
Responsibilities
* Lead the creation of UK Brand training strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders (e.g., Head of Education and Events).
* Design, develop, oversee and conduct brand Training Programs for Brand employed and retailer consultant teams.
* Train Beauty Consultants on product knowledge and selling behaviours to meet or exceed sales and service goals, in classroom and virtual settings.
* Regularly review training effectiveness and translate findings into the national strategy.
* Ensure all newly hired Consultants receive quality training within the first 30 days of hire.
* Work with Regional Sales & Education Managers to understand performance and field needs, providing 1-2-1 coaching on counter and developing new initiatives as needed.
* Build strong relationships with key retailer personnel; establish appropriate events in coordination with NAM team; deliver dynamic retailer presentations; ensure retailer consultants training needs are met to maximise sales.
* Adapt, manage and maintain training assets from Regional Head Office to fit UK needs; oversee the app and internal BC social groups, monitor engagement, and ensure content is aligned, clear and engaging.
* Provide leadership and management for Field Trainer & Events Manager and SNMUA; develop the talent of the training team and Beauty Consultants to increase certification levels.
* Oversee Training Budget management; submit monthly travel and expense reports with receipts; assist Area Sales & Education Managers with recruitment of Beauty Consultants.
* Serve as a role model and senior brand ambassador with strong product knowledge, brand standards, grooming and sales expertise; support events as required; complete and submit Training plans and recaps on time and within corporate guidelines and budgets.
* Participate in regional Training Conferences and Seminars; contribute to performance and development reviews to ensure career progression.
Qualifications
* Experience as a National Education Manager.
* Knowledge of the beauty industry.
* Highly developed presentation skills across training mediums and group sizes (internal and external).
* Ability to facilitate training seminars to maximise participant learning and understanding.
* Experience creating and adapting National Training Programmes for local markets.
* Coaching, leadership and communication skills; strong leadership with flexibility, organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Ability to travel across the UK and occasionally internationally.
* Experience of working in a multi-national, matrixed organisation.
* Experience researching, implementing and managing digital solutions for learning.
