SEND Tutor – Wokingham | £20–£30 per hour
Are you passionate about helping young people with additional needs thrive in their learning? We’re looking for an experienced and caring SEND Tutor to join our team in Wokingham.
About the Role
You’ll support students from EYFS through to Post-16, delivering personalised 1:1 or small group sessions in Maths and English. Learners may present with a variety of SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning differences.
Tutors will be responsible for planning, assessing, and delivering a tailored scheme of work designed to meet each student’s unique goals and learning style. Sessions may take place in schools, community settings, or at the learner’s home.
Requirements
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a minimum of 3 years’ tutoring experience
* Strong understanding of SEND and differentiated teaching strategies
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging, individualised lessons
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
