Sense has a fantastic opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Supported Living Service in Rotherham.
This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday.
Sense is offering £25,370 per annum pro rata (£13.01 per hour) with enhanced rates for overtime and annual pay reviews .
We support 3 adults with multi-sensory impairments and / or complex needs.
We have lots of fun in Rotherham supporting individuals explore the community, travelling on public transport, going to local pubs and restaurants, shopping, swimming, playing computer games, walking, going to our local Sense Centre but do not worry we do like time in the house also; watching TV, listening to music, playing games etc.

We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:
1. Positive, with a can-do attitude.
2. Caring and empathetic.
3. Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
4. Willing to attend training as needed to support you in your role.
5. Full UK driving license and use of your own car is desirable
6. Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments / learning difficulties is beneficial.
7. Flexibility to cover shifts when required
8. Previous experience as a support worker or team leader in a similar setting desirable
9. Experience of staff supervision and training
No two days will be the same
This role in Rotherham might include:
10. Supporting individuals with everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
11. Personal care and hygiene.
12. Medication and wellbeing.
13. Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
14. Assisting the manager in running the service
15. Supervising frontline support workers
16. Contributing to the continued development of the service
17. Supporting with recruitment and induction of new team members

Please note, this role may include regular sleep-in shifts paid at £50 a night (This means sleeping over at the residence, with the possibility you might have to wake up to provide care in the night.)
