We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers 1-2 days working from home for the right candidate. Location: Basildon, Essex Salary: £70,000 per annum Working Arrangement: Full-time, permanent, with hybrid working flexibility Key Responsibilities: Design and develop structural engineering solutions for a variety of projects Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications Perform connection design using industry-standard software such as IDEA StatiCa and TEKLA Ensure all designs comply with UK regulations, codes, and standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects Support project delivery from concept through to completion Contribute to internal process improvements and best practice sharing Requirements: Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering Chartered Member of Civil Engineering Experience using IDEA StatiCa and TEKLA Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design, and detailing Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues Willingness to work on-site when required What's Offered: 1-2 days working from home flexibility Full-time, permanent role in a supportive professional environment Interested applicants are invited to apply by sending their most up-to-date CV.
