The Role: Main Banker
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain adequate levels of coin/currency in the Cashiers' Cage (Vault, Main Bank, and Marker Bank).
2. Provide exceptional customer service.
3. Follow all safety rules and regulations.
4. Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and guests.
5. Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
6. Ensure floor locations are adequately impressed (automated Currency Transaction Kiosks and jackpot machines).
7. Verify coin shipments and currency bank deposits for accuracy and timeliness.
8. Organize vault contents for easy counting during shift changes.
9. Complete all related paperwork, including cash count sheets, coin transfers, bank summaries, and jackpot payout checks.
10. Complete currency transaction reports as required by law.
11. Reconcile inventories at the end of shifts, including F&B cashier, coin cashier, slot attendant, etc.
12. Respond promptly to telephone inquiries.
13. Forward end-of-shift and end-of-day paperwork to accounting and respond to inquiries.
14. Reconcile automated jackpot machines and CTKs as required.
15. Safeguard cash drawers and casino assets.
16. Count and verify all Cage transactions at shift start and end.
17. Make change and exchange tickets for cash.
18. Maintain jet sort equipment and coin bags.
19. Maintain accurate cage cash transmittal forms and related paperwork.
20. Maintain confidentiality of casino operations data.
21. Ensure the integrity of Delaware Gaming equipment and secure assets at all times.
Additional Functions:
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
* Good communication skills.
* Punctuality and ability to work weekends, holidays, and nights.
* Ability to pass a background check and obtain a DE Lottery license.
* Professional appearance and appropriate attire.
* Ability to plan, organize, and complete work independently.
* High standards of performance.
* Effective communication and learning ability regarding job duties.
* Basic knowledge of relevant concepts and techniques.
* Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
