This role is central to ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and safety of our site’s inventory and purchasing processes.Key Responsibilities* Control and manage ordering, receipting, storing, and issuing of stores items* Act as the first point of contact for all deliveries of raw materials and consumables* Ensure EH&S requirements are met and maintained across stores operations* Identify and recommend alternative suppliers to reduce budget costs* Plan and coordinate site purchasing activities efficiently* Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular stocktaking* Generate purchase requisitions and manage GRNs* Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries* Use SAP to manage purchasing data, monitor stock, and report accruals* Support budgetary control and financial reporting* Administer engineering stock and communicate updates to site management* Undertake any relevant training required for the roleWhat We’re Looking For* Experience in stores or purchasing coordination* Strong organisational and communication skills* Familiarity with SAP or similar systems* Attention to detail and commitment to safety* Ability to work independently and collaboratively* Be part of a supportive and dynamic team* Make a meaningful impact on site operations* Opportunities for professional development* Help drive cost-effective and safe practicesAt Heidelberg Materials, we don’t just offer jobs—we build careers.
