Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a global leading engineering manufacturer.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will be home-based in the South East, managing and growing distribution networks while developing business with end users in construction, mining, quarrying, and hire. Products include a full range of pumps and associated products. Full product training provided.
The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have a strong sales background in pumps (preferably submersible pumps, sewage pumps, wastewater pumps, centrifugal pumps, or similar) and proven experience working with distributors, hire companies, and end users in construction, mining, or quarrying.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role
Manage and grow distribution networks while developing business with end users in various industries.
Develop new business for various pump products into contractors, hire companies, and end users across the construction, mining, and quarrying sectors.
Promote and sell a full range of pumps, including submersible pumps, centrifugal pumps, sewage pumps, wastewater pumps, or similar.
Conduct site visits to quarries, mines, and construction projects to develop sales opportunities.
Attend pump exhibitions, demonstrations, and industry events to raise brand awareness.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Fully remote role, covering the South East UK (London & surrounding areas).
Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements
Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, or Key Account Manager in the pumps sector.
Strong track record of working with distributors, hire companies, and end users in construction, mining, or quarrying markets.
Ability to hit the ground running with pump knowledge and established customer contacts.
Comfortable with daily site visits to quarries, mines, and construction projects.
A technical sales background in submersible pumps, centrifugal pumps, sewage pumps, wastewater pumps, or similar mechanical engineering products is highly desirable.
Full UK driving license.
Home-based with willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
