Housing Grants Officer\n37 Hours Per Week - Hybrid (2 days on site)\n3 Month Temporary/Temporary to Permanent\nNottingham, Nottinghamshire\n\nSellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Housing Grants Officer on behalf of a Housing organisation who requires assistance within the team DFG Team. \n\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective provision of DFG casework assessments, approval, and monitoring of grant-funded adaptation works, enabling vulnerable housing residents to live more independently and safely in their homes.\n\nKey Responsibilities of the DFG roles includes:\n\nAssisting residents with completing formal Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) applications and approving grants\n\nCarrying out Provisional Test of Resource Assessments\nAttending pre-start meetings with contractors and residents\n\nIssuing contracts and relevant documentation\n\nInspecting completed works and arranging payment of invoices\n\nRequirements of the Housing Grants Officer role includes:\n\nDemonstrable knowledge of Disabled Facilities Grant legislation and housing adaptations\n\nExperience in surveying, contract administration, or grant delivery within a housing, local authority, or similar setting\n\nAccess to a vehicle for site visits across the district\n\nIf you're passionate about supporting residents and improving housing accessibility and would like to be considered for the DFG Caseworker, please click "apply now" for further information please contact Ebony at Sellick Partnership in the Derby office\n\nSellick Partnership is proud to be an inclusive and accessible recruitment business and we support applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances.
