Job Title: Admin Support Officer

Location: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Digital People Team

Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday

Trust Location: Digital People Team, People Services Directorate, HR, City Hospital, Nottingham NG5 1PB

Work Type: Temporary

What you'll be responsible for:

1. Use own judgement and initiative to prioritise the importance/urgency of tasks within defined guidelines.

2. To support corporate/divisional leads to understand the use and limitations of the system to enable them to make appropriate decisions regarding implementation.

3. To maintain systems and an understanding of their end purpose at NUH, including their potential impact on both patient care and trust performance (e.g. data quality, income, targets).

4. To support the establishment of appropriate structures within systems including setting up, issuing and reviewing system access for trainees, to ensure correct and appropriate use of systems.

5. To support the ongoing the maintenance of the systems.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

Skills:

· Microsoft office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel.

· Ability to use own initiative and attention to detail.

· Excellent administrative experience and great organization skills.

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
