About this role: Supporting the Head of Legal, you will provide legal advice and support to all business areas with a focus on commercial contracts, PPAs, optimisation agreements, corporate, M&A, funding and other legal tasks as directed.
What you’ll be doing:
M&A, Sales & Funding
* Lead the legal delivery of commercial projects, including M&A, sales, and funding (Junior and Senior), coordinating external legal providers.
* Coordinate W&I insurance.
* Manage legal and contractual due diligence processes, including Q&A/Disclosure.
Corporate
* Provide corporate support, drafting board notes and minutes.
* Structure groups for debt raise.
* Provide legal input on investment papers.
PPA/Offtake agreements
* Draft, negotiate, review and advise on PPAs, including cPPAs and RtMPPAs.
* Review and advise on optimisation agreements.
* Provide legal support on CfDs and capacity market issues.
General/Other
* Draft, negotiate and review NDAs, terms & conditions, ad‑hoc agreements and miscellaneous contracts.
* Draft and maintain precedent contracts and agreements.
* Liaise with external lawyers and internal teams.
* Assist and support the Head of Legal with compliance and risk management.
What we’re looking for:
* Experienced qualified Solicitor.
* Experience managing a flexible workload in an agile, fast‑paced environment.
* Experience in the renewable energy sector is desirable.
* In‑house legal team experience is desirable.

* Highly organised, proactive, self‑motivated, and an enthusiastic team player.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Commercially aware and customer‑focussed.
