Overview
The Curriculum Manager will lead and manage the ESOL & Wellbeing curriculum area, ensuring high-quality delivery across adult and community learning. The postholder will oversee curriculum planning, development, quality assurance, and performance, ensuring the offer is innovative, responsive, and aligned with both local needs and strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the ESOL & Wellbeing curriculum team to deliver high-quality adult learning.
* Oversee the development, planning, and delivery of an innovative ESOL curriculum offer.
* Ensure all provision meets funder requirements, council priorities, and quality standards.
* Monitor performance, learner outcomes, and curriculum effectiveness.
* Drive continuous improvement and ensure robust quality assurance processes.
* Work collaboratively across the service to support strategic objectives and community impact.
Qualifications
* Education-qualified professional with experience managing curriculum areas, ideally within ESOL or adult/community learning.
* Strong leadership and team-management skills.
* Experience developing and quality-assuring curriculum programmes.
* Ability to align provision with strategic, funding, and community priorities.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
