Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher eager to inspire and support primary-aged pupils in their learning journey?
GSL Education are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming school in Derbyshire, starting September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact by fostering a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.
As a KS2 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum.
* Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that encourages pupil confidence and achievement.
* Monitoring and assessing pupil progress to tailor teaching approaches and support individual learning needs.
* Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support holistic development.
* Promoting good behaviour, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing within the classroom and wider school community.
To be successful in this role of KS2 Teacher, you should:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils.
* Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
* Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Be adaptable, patient, and passionate about supporting the development of all learners.
* Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
* Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the last 10 years.
