About Ty Cwm
Located in a peaceful wooded area, Ty Cwm is home to 20 adults with physical disabilities. Situated in Johnstown, near Carmarthen town centre, it is close to attractions like the National Botanic Gardens of Wales and the Millennium Coastal Park.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the highest standards of care by assessing residents’ needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life.
* Promote independence and personal choice; develop, review, and update care plans to meet residents’ physical, social, and psychological needs.
* Manage all aspects of medication on your shift, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and administration in line with policies and legislation.
* Build and maintain a positive reputation through professional liaising with visitors and external stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines, proactively identifying and resolving risks.
* Support, guide, teach, and mentor others in accordance with the NMC Code, adhering to its guidance at all times.

Salary and Working Hours:
£20.60 per hour, with a mixed schedule of day and night shifts totaling 37.5 hours per week.
