We’re supporting a welcoming primary school in Wakefield looking for a Year 2 Teacher to join their team permanently. This school values creativity, kindness, and teachers who can balance high expectations with plenty of encouragement.
You’ll be joining a settled KS1 team with strong leadership, shared planning support, and children who genuinely enjoy coming to school.
The role includes:
* Full class teaching responsibility in Year 2
* Delivering engaging and well-paced lessons
* Supporting pupils through KS1 assessments with confidence
* Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

You’ll need:
* UK QTS
* Experience teaching KS1

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
