We are looking for an experienced Deputy Payroll Manager for our Corporate Finance Team at Ruskin Mill Trust.
This role is key within the Finance Team covering payroll and other duties for all entities within Ruskin Mill Trust, which will include Colleges, Schools, subsidiary companies or the wider Trust.
For full details of duties please refer to Job Description but will include:
* To manage end to end payroll processing for up to 14 companies and produce the period close for each entity.
* To act as the primary authority and deputise in the Payroll Manager's absence, making key decisions and acting as a senior escalation point for complex queries.
* To manage the process of attachment of earnings with local councils, ensuring that employees are aware of the impact of any instructions received.
* To provide leadership and support to the payroll officer in ensuring pension submissions are sent on monthly basis and information is kept up to date.
* To liaise with HR staff over payroll payments and queries and other staff issues.
