Resort Assistant Night Manager
As Assistant Night Manager, you will assist in the night-hour supervision of the Front Office Team to ensure that Team Members are prepared and well-informed to deliver Guests an exceptional experience from check-in through check-out.
An Assistant Night Manager is responsible for managing the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
1. Oversee the entire Front Office operation to maintain high standards
2. Assist the Night Manager to evaluate levels of Guest satisfaction and monitor trends, with a focus on continuous improvement
3. Serve as a point of contact for regular and important Guests
4. Complete Night Audit duties
5. Maximise room occupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
6. Represent the Night Manger and other senior managers in their absence, taking full responsibility of the hotel
7. Act in accordance with all security and emergency procedures and manage the instigation of these, as required
8. Compile adequate handover to Early staff / Duty Manager
9. Attend appropriate training courses, when required, and assist with the Night Team's training and development efforts
10. Demonstrate current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area
11. Conduct Health and Safety Checks and Night Walks
12. Maintain a good status awareness of all hotel areas
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
13. Previous supervisory experience in Front Office within the hotel sector
14. Competent level of IT proficiency
15. Excellent leadership and management skills

20. Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
