Our client is expanding their team with a Finance Manager who’s ready to take ownership of the finance function and drive improvement across the organisation. As one of the most respected companies in their industry, they’re seeking someone who combines strong financial acumen with the initiative to bring fresh ideas and deliver real impact.
In this varied and hands on role, you’ll:
1. Deliver monthly management accounts and finance performance packs to the Managing Director
2. Manage sales and purchase ledgers, including customer invoicing, supplier payments, and reconciliations
3. Oversee cashflow, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic business decisions
4. Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations (MTD, VAT, PAYE, CIS, DRC) and internal audit processes
5. Lead, train, and support the finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency
6. Conduct financial analysis to improve profitability and enhance purchasing strategy
7. Manage insurance renewals, leases, and loan arrangements
8. Collaborate with Supply Chain, HR, and Operations teams to maintain strong financial visibility
This is a office based role offering flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing business.
What you’ll need:
9. ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) qualification
10. Proven experience managing a finance function end-to-end
11. Strong analytical and communication skills
12. Leadership experience and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
13. Construction industry experience (advantageous)
