The ideal candidate will be an experienced Vehicle Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Mechanical Fitter, HGV/PSV Technician, or Defence/Military Vehicle Fitter, bringing strong hands on mechanical and diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work reliably within a fast paced defence engineering environment.

What You’ll Do
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on military vehicles and associated electrical systems
* Interpret and work from technical drawings, engineering process plans, and customer specifications
* Complete accurate documentation, test certificates, and maintenance reports
* Conduct equipment inspections to meet production, safety, and quality standards
* Use workshop tools correctly and report any defects or material issues
* Collaborate with a dedicated engineering team focused on precision, safety, and mission success
What You’ll Bring
* City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Proven hands on experience in a similar mechanical role: Ideal backgrounds: ex forces, HGV/PSV, commercial dealerships, plant, agricultural machinery
* Strong understanding of hydraulics, mechanics, and vehicle diagnostics
* A team focused mindset with good communication skills
* Ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance (requires no criminal convictions + 5 years UK residency)
* A targeted medical assessment may be required as part of the onboarding process.
