Key Responsibilities of the Class Teacher: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons across the curriculum. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the needs of all pupils. Foster a love for learning and encourage curiosity, independence, and resilience. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure holistic student development. Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to aid academic and personal growth. Uphold safeguarding standards and promote the well-being of every child. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching in a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2). Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to the needs of all learners. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A proactive, flexible, and nurturing approach. Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
