Private Client Lawyer - Chippenham - 3+ Years PQE
Location: Chippenham (with travel to other office locations as required)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience)
A respected and forward thinking law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join its successful and growing Private Client team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload within a supportive, ambitious environment that values high quality client service and professional excellence.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a busy and diverse caseload of Private Client matters, including:
* Wills
* Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
* Probate
* Developing and servicing your own portfolio of Private Client work
* Building and maintaining strong, profitable client relationships
* Identifying opportunities to enhance and innovate service delivery
* Meeting fee income targets
* Ensuring compliance with SRA, Law Society and Lexcel standards
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a Private Client Lawyer with:
* Minimum 3 years PQE across a broad range of Private Client work
* Experience handling technical matters at pace
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to remain calm, professional, and focused in challenging situations
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Confidence in decision making and taking ownership when required
* Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively
* High levels of organisation, motivation, and time management
* Flexibility in approach and willingness to travel between offices
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
