This is a great opportunity for an experienced HSE Advisor to join a main contractor on Hinckley Point. This role in particular is based out of the Avonmouth office and requires marine/offshore/civils works
Our client is looking for a HSE Advisor to join them working on the Civil Engineering/Marine aspects of the project an will involve working on shore and offshore. This is an initial 6 month contract, with the opportunity to move on to other upcoming projects beyond this. This role falls inside IR35.

Package offered for this HSE Advisor role:
· £480-£550 per day based on experience
· Inside IR35
· 6 month initial contract with potential for future extension
Key responsibilities for this HSE Advisor role:
* Offer daily technical advice and support on all health and safety issues
* Conduct risk-based monitoring
* Continue to enhance H&S Management
* Promote and enforce H&S Standards
* Risk based inspection and audits to assess health and safety performance.
* Develop health and safety risk profiles
* Ensure compliance and Reviews
* Conducts inspections, manage accident investigations and maintain records and reports.
* Provide training, briefing and information on the H&S management system
* Design an implement zero-tolerance HSE programs to raise awareness across the project
* Work collaboratively with other safety, health and environmental professionals to develop integrated safety policies and systems.
Experience required for this HSE Advisor role:
* Experience in a similar role.
* Ideally Marine/Offshore experience
* Some flexibility required working some nights etc as and when required
* Hold a minimum NEBOSH certificate or equivalent
* Able to deliver internal H&S management courses
* Advise on health and safety issues on a day to day basis on site
* Conduct standard accident investigations on site
* Able to write site inspection reports and audit reports
