Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant Location: Wakefield (WF4) Pay rate: £ 460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time Provide targeted support to help pupils reach their full potential. GSL Education are excited to recruit an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a school in the WF4 area of Wakefield. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with individual pupils, supporting their learning, personal development, and confidence in the classroom. Prime Responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 support tailored to pupils’ individual needs. Assist in implementing learning plans and monitoring progress. Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence. Support teachers in managing classroom activities effectively. Maintain accurate records and provide feedback on pupil development. Requirements: Experience working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant or in a similar role. Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow school policies and work collaboratively with staff. Good level of spoken and written English. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
