To lead, manage, and develop high‑quality SEND provision across one or more schools within Learn Academies Trust, ensuring inclusive practice and excellent outcomes for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
Job Responsibilities
* Contribute to school improvement planning and self‑evaluation with a focus on SEND.
* Develop and implement the SEND strategy aligned with the Trust's vision and values.
* Be responsible and oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the SEND policy and co‑ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or a disability.
* Maintain accurate SEND registers and provision maps.
* Coordinate Assess, Plan, Do, Review (APDR) cycles for pupils with SEND.
* Lead EHCP processes, Annual Reviews, and liaise with the Local Authority.
Essential Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete).

* Skilled in monitoring and evaluating pupil progress and in using this information to inform provision and outcomes for pupils with SEND.
* Comfortable managing EHCP processes, reviews and liaising with external agencies, or willing to develop these skills.
* Willing to learn, reflect and engage in continued professional development, including SEND‑specific training.

Work Arrangements
Part time, permanent. Grade: Leadership 1, £20,709 (actual) 0.4 FTE, 52 weeks a year. Working pattern: Flexible, can be discussed at point of interview.
