Blue Earth is a global platform built to accelerate a better future for people and planet. Across the Blue Earth Summit, Forums, Sessions, BE100, London Climate Action Week, New York Climate Week, and our year-round Ventures and content programmes, we bring together founders, investors, policymakers, creatives and leaders shaping the future economy.
We believe that solutions to the world's biggest challenges already exist — they simply need to radically outcompete. Our role is to find them, fund them, and help them scale through connection, storytelling and investment.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Marketing Executive to join our small, AI-driven, high-performing team in Exeter. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you'll play a hands‑on role across some of the most exciting work we do, helping build and sustain the relationships that make Blue Earth tick.
This role sits at the centre of our delegate, partner and speaker experience. You'll work closely with our account managers to support partner relationships day-to-day, coordinate speaker communications across our events calendar, and help shape how Blue Earth shows up on social media and in email. It's a role for someone who is organised, curious, and energised by working across a lot of different moving parts, all in service of something that genuinely matters.
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive at Blue Earth if you're someone who cares about doing things well and wants their work to contribute to something bigger than the task in front of them. We're a small, agile team, ideas move quickly here, and ownership matters.
In practice, this means you are likely to:
* Take pride in the quality and care of your communications — whether that's a partner email or a social post.
* Feel comfortable juggling multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
* Ask questions, flag problems early, and suggest improvements.
* Enjoy working with people, partners, speakers, colleagues and building genuine relationships.
* Be curious about innovation, climate, investment and what a better future economy looks like.
* Feel at home in a fast-paced environment where no two weeks are the same.
What You’ll Do
Partner & Account Support
Working alongside our account managers, you'll help ensure our partners have an excellent experience with Blue Earth from first contact through to event day and beyond.
* Support account managers in day‑to‑day partner communications and relationship management.
* Help coordinate partner deliverables, ensuring assets, briefs and deadlines are tracked and met.
* Prepare partner-facing materials, updates and reports as needed.
* Assist with onboarding new partners and keeping records accurate in our CRM.
* Be a warm, reliable point of contact that reflects Blue Earth’s values in every interaction.
Speaker Management
Speakers are central to what makes Blue Earth events exceptional. You'll play a key role in making sure they feel supported, informed and excited to be part of it.
* Manage speaker communications across Blue Earth Summit, LCAW and other events, from initial confirmation through to post‑event follow‑up.
* Coordinate logistics, briefing packs and scheduling in collaboration with the events team.
* Build and maintain speaker records, ensuring information is up-to-date and accessible.
* Help develop the speaker experience so it's consistently excellent and reflects the Blue Earth brand.
Social Media Support
You'll support Blue Earth’s presence across social platforms, primarily LinkedIn and Meta, helping translate our work, events and community into content that connects.
* Create and schedule social content aligned with Blue Earth’s editorial calendar and voice.
* Help amplify partner and speaker stories, event moments and Ventures content.
* Monitor social performance and share insights to inform future content.
* Stay across trends and opportunities relevant to our audience: founders, investors, climate leaders.
Email Marketing
Working with the Head of Marketing, you'll support the creation and delivery of email communications across our products and audiences.
* Draft and build email campaigns for events, partner communications and brand moments.
* Help maintain audience lists and ensure contacts are correctly segmented.
* Support the production of email content, from writing to formatting and scheduling in HubSpot.
* Track performance and flag what’s working (and what isn’t).
What We’re Looking For
Experience
* 1–2 years of experience in a marketing, communications or events‑adjacent role.
* Comfortable writing clearly and confidently in a professional context.
* Experience using social media platforms in a professional or content creation capacity.
* Familiarity with email marketing tools (HubSpot experience is a bonus, not a requirement).
* Any experience supporting events, partnerships or client‑facing communications is a plus.
Skills & Attributes
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* A natural communicator: warm, clear and reliable.
* Comfortable managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
* Proactive: you spot things that need doing and get on with them.
* Collaborative and low‑ego: we’re a small team and everyone chips in.
* Genuinely interested in climate, innovation, investment and impact.
Why Join Blue Earth
* Work at the intersection of innovation, investment and impact.
* Direct exposure to world‑class founders, investors, policymakers and partners.
* High ownership and variety from day one — no narrow remits.
* A team that cares about doing things well and doing things that matter.
* Real opportunity to grow quickly in a fast‑scaling platform.
A Note from the Head of Marketing
Blue Earth is still in its early chapters, and this role is an invitation to help write them. I’m building a marketing function from the ground up, and I’m looking for someone to build it with me.
You’d be joining at a genuinely pivotal moment, as we grow our events, deepen our partner relationships and build Blue Earth into the UK’s leading platform for innovation and impact. That’s exciting, but it also means you’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, willing to take ownership, and energised rather than daunted by a fast‑moving environment.
In return, you’ll get real exposure across every part of what we do, partners, speakers, content, events, ventures and the space to grow quickly. The goal isn’t just to find someone who can do the job today, it’s to find someone who’ll be exceptional at it in two years’ time.
